I have both tents that the previous reviewer mentioned. The Go Diego Go Outdoor Rescue Canopy and this one. so I will try to compare the two.. The are both amazing and they are both in my opinion for different purpose. This one is smaller and the other is bigger indeed. Diego is pretty much 5feet lenght and widht and 5.5 or so height. Dora tent is great because it is smaller, we use it indoors all winter long as we have small space so it it does not take too much space. It is nice and sturdy and because it has open sides it is airy. I love this because I have been through so many tents and returns because they are so hot inside. no matter what month of the year.. you as a parent do have to get inside and do check it for yourself... they just generate heat instantly no matter how cool is your house that is jsut sad fact so it is sad fact. My daughter was overheating in any of them.. so I got one garden tent from target with all mesh sides and top that is great but in the summer it is still a heat issue but other season indoors it is good and breathable. even mash cummlates some heat so forget about just material walls.. I think that the reson they sell so much of the fabric wall ones is that nobody really bothers to go inside and kids don't know better to complain about the heat inside. aside from that the factor for me is a smell.. almost any fabric smells terribly with paint. I got them from tosyrus stores and onliine and from other places many kinds and the same result so unless it is a light poliester then there is no use of buying it.. that paint is thick and smell.. Dora tent is made of breathable and light poliester kind of fabric if I can tell, but I am not expert on fabrics.. it is very thin and light but sturdy and beautiful. so the open sides are amazing plus. the sides and top are attached to the polls with velro straps in dora.. so it is sturdy. yes the pols are running around the bottom but how else would it stay indoors wihtout stickign some sticks into the floor? so it is technical measure but it is not a problemw with our 3 year old. the sticks connect together easily and set up is lik 5 minutes or so for one person. but it is not ez up the ones that just pop up. those are more flimzy though at the end, this one is more sturdy.. so you pick.. I would not recommend it for younger kids around 1 year old because kid could disconnect the pols and get hurt, babies are stronger then smarter.. I would think 3 is perfect age for it or 2 if you have a child that is not dissasambing anything in sight. mine was like that till 3. the nice accent are the flags on the top , removable. putting down is just as fast as assembling. I would say under 5 minutes, mnore like 3.. and you put it in the bag that is purple like the legs. I totall love it, my girl is singing in it and put some animals as an oudience to watch her performance. THE Diego tent though is great for outdoors and it is good for indoors but it takes really lots of space. it is great for outdoors and I can focus on this as we use it outdoor so I can not say how it behaves indoors. outside is great, size is perfect to put over little wading pool or one of those frog, turtle, crab covered sandbox or similar sized ones. check size and then you will know. we attached with velcro that is double sided sticky a mesh to one side to cover from little draft on one side, mesh was enough to stop it, fabric would take too much air. anything with the roof accummulates heat in the summer so be vigilant on overheating if you live in tosty humid areas with no breeze. check it to see if it is safe. we love both of them equally and comparing them really is like comparing apples to patatoes, the serve different puproses. oh btw.. dora tent is too small to cover sand box or wading pool like the previous poster stated. you can find them both here and there online but they go fast in the summer months. nick jr. had some deal on dora tent and additonal off but it might be gone by now. they had the diego one last year too but now it is gone and it is only avaliable on ebay and I saw on few sites, dora tent was also on ebay and few other sites, shop for prices wisely my best prices to find was 19.00 for dora and 39 for diego (I missed 25.00 price for diego last wineter when nick was selling them out.. good luck and happy parenting. There is piping all along the bottom of the tent that has been tripping the kids. It is a small cube that I can't put over the kiddie pool or sand box. I used to have a Diego tent that I loved that went over almost anything my kids played with outside. This doesn't go over anything.
