Bought for grandson who just turned 2 years old. He loved it so much that he "helped" put it together. Loved playing basketball, then would run in and out of the door of it and even make the dog go in with him. His mom couldn't get him out even for meals. Definitely worth every penny-even with the $80 shipping (which I wasn't happy about).

I choose this play house because it had more features that helps prepare a child for "real life". You can have a lot of discussions with them about banking, shopping, school, gas prices etc. Other buyers suggested doing painting on the inside and out to make the Play Town more colorful. I followed their advice, and it does make a HUGE DIFFERENCE. Kids are attracted to "color", and the painting does get their attention. I wish that Little Tikes would make a design change to include more color, and a door bell. But, other than that, it seems to be satisfactory. I will know better when the rest of my grandchildren come for a visit.

I have children ages 1 to 10 years old and they all love it. The oldest one of course wants to be the teacher. The rest are in and out of it all day. I set it up in the house until the weather gets better. They use their wonderful imaginations to include other toys and pretend to be the banker, shop keeper, etc. The only draw back is that it needs extra light indoors and the flashlights keep running out of batteries!
